Shit, that's a lot of movies.

Howdily ho, deviants! I haven't updated this journal in a while, have I?

Blargh, I have had a busy 8 months, what with classes, getting financial aid, bein' a bridesmaid...well, I'll just list what I've been doing:

1. Harry Potter, Avatar, musicals, books and whatnot. I loved HP7 and the movie HP5. Also, Zuko finally grew nu-nus and I am thrilled to pieces about that. I've seen Sweeney Todd the movie twice (it'll be three times tomorrow) and I'm gonna get to see Phantom again in a few weeks when it comes to Louisville, Kentucky *squee*. I've just finished reading Good Omens and have concluded that Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman are gods.

2. I was a bridesmaid for my friend Amanda last Sunday. I had my hair styled liked Katara's *dork*. My boyfriend, who was the DJ for the reception, rickrolled us. I wish my friend and her husband mucho happiness in Canadialand.

3. I've been taking creative writing classes and have written a couple of short stories, which I may post here. I haven't decided yet.

4. I'm getting the hang of role playing games. More often than not I'm some sort of bard/gypsy/pirate person of dubious origins, which makes me a walking Mary Sue *groan*. I don't plan my characters to be like that, but once I'm finished making the character sheet I read it over and go "...Goddammit." Sadly, one of my friends had to discontinue his Conan the Barbarian campaign, which sucks cuz it was fun. His NPCs were very entertaining.

5. Lastly, I will talk about Tin Man. I'm a fan of all things Ozian, so I had to watch it. It were BITCHIN. The scenery was beautiful and the writing was great, even though the ending kinda sucked. They left it open, leading me to think that perhaps they will make a series out of it. I hope so. My favorite character had to be Glitch because he is so d'aaaaawwwww. He has been added to my list.

I just saw the latest trailer for the 5th Potter movie and all I have to say is HOLY SHIT. Couple that movie with the final book and July can't come fast enough.

Huzzah and good morrow! I have a question for all you people: What should I go as for Halloween? My anime club is having a costume party/contest and the rules are that you use what you already got and/or materials costing $20 or under. Any suggestions?

On to other business: even though I do not (actually, cannot) submit art here, I do doodle a bit. Trees eating grass, beavers with Satan faces, Mark Cohen catching himself on fire during the pyro sequence of Rent....I suppose that pretty much describes whta goes on in my mind. Oh, and lots of sketches of Erik and Sherlock and Snape (oh my...).

I'm currently writing in the hang-out section of my college's library, which has nice comfy couches. I have one little grievance, though. The volume 1 of Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is all messed up! AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!
